• Ambassador Program and YOU

SpinUp Corporation helps University Scientists commercialize their Big Ideas.   We bring our systems and professionals to focus on “SpinningUp” a well-funded company.  We pay and train Student Interns to create a local bridge between our organizations and provide students hands-on entrepreneurial educational experience.

The SpinUp Ambassador Program is designed to assist and support University scientists to commercialize their Big Ideas.   University students hired into our Ambassador Program will create a local bridge between the University personnel, SpinUp Corporate, and the new University SpinUp.

The Ambassador Program will be comprised of a group of select University student interns.  These students are hired by SpinUp to support the efforts of the University science team during the “SpinningUp” of the new business.  They will provide status reporting, issue tracking, and support requests back to the SpinUp Corporate team.  They will document findings and deliver requests to both the University science administration team and SpinUp Corporate.  Their role is to create a local bridge of communication between the University and SpinUp.

The Ambassadors will coordinate with the SpinUp marketing team and the University marketing organization to provide content to support marketing efforts, Regulation A+ filing requirements, and funding initiatives.  This will include the content required to build comprehensive yet easy to understand explanations of the applied research efforts funded by the SpinUp and the progress of the University team scientists.

The Ambassador team will be the local liaisons to build video content demonstrating the science and sharing achievements at the University.  This will require them to schedule the resources, locations, and equipment / tools required.  They will work with experts to help write the scripts and create the storyboards to be approved by the University and SpinUp marketing teams and executed by the video creation team.

The Ambassador team will build the General Business Description, Market / Industry Analysis, and Product Description sections of the Business Plan under the guidance of the SpinUp professionals.  A business student intern will use the SpinUp Business Plan template to build this plan, coordinating and receiving support from the University Incubator program as needed for mentoring, research, and analytical data. The Ambassador will leverage the relationships to create and nurture any networking opportunities through your University entrepreneurial programs.  These programs will benefit by having a student member from the SpinUp team participating in program initiatives, workshops, and competitions.
